Party in Röbel

Invitation to the Celebration on November 1, 2025 – from 3:00 PM (Family) / from 8:00 PM (Everyone) ENGELscher Hof, Kleine Stavenstraße 9–11, 17207 Röbel/Müritz

INFOS

Dear friends, Eva and I warmly invite you to my 60th birthday on November 1 at the Engelscher Hof in Röbel. We want to enjoy our time together — eating and drinking, singing and dancing, making music, admiring the fire in the courtyard, and gazing at the stars in the sky.

FAMILY

From 3:00 PM we will open the doors and gates for you. After a first round of greetings, we will begin at 4:00 PM with a shared meal at one large table.

EVERYONE

The party and its program for everyone will begin at 8:00 PM. There will be various performances to listen to and admire — sometimes more, sometimes less, with opportunities to join in.

SUNDAY

On Sunday morning, there will be breakfast at the Engelscher Hof starting at 10:00 AM. If you have any questions, please contact party@seeber.media or call +49 177 3261954 or +49 1556 9066011.

What we look forward to most is having you with us and celebrating together!

We also welcome cultural contributions of all kinds: music, singing, dance, performing and visual arts, a reading, an anecdote, a joke. Your contribution could also simply be your favorite drink. The most important contribution for us, however, is your very own expression of good cheer and zest for life!

Please send your ideas for contributions by September 30, 2025 to party@seeber.media and answer the following questions:

What kind of contribution is it?

How long will it last?

What do you need (e.g., microphone, instrument, electricity, projector, space)?

Once we have received all ideas, we will put together the most harmonious program possible. If you have questions, simply call us or send an email to party@seeber.media.

Directly at the Engelscher Hof there are accommodations (“hostel style”), initially reserved for family members if needed. There are single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms, each with a private bathroom. All rooms are already booked from Saturday to Sunday and are therefore free of charge. If you are interested in staying at the Engelscher Hof, please contact us at party@seeber.media. If you are planning a longer stay, you can book additional days — we are happy to help.

Just around the corner, within walking distance from the Engelscher Hof, you will find the Hotel am Markt at Röbel marketplace:

About 3 km from Röbel, there is a particularly recommendable place to stay: Gutshaus Ludorf — a Slow Food restaurant with not only excellent cuisine but also wonderful historic rooms. If you are interested in this accommodation, please contact us, as the official website only offers bookings for longer stays:

We will be celebrating at a historic site that has been further developed since 2005 as a social and cultural venue. The Engelscher Hof complex (named after the Jewish family “Engel” once based in Röbel) houses, in addition to a large event hall and guest rooms, a library, and its historic centerpiece: the synagogue building, constructed in the 18th century, which now hosts an exhibition on the history of Jews in Mecklenburg. The former synagogue is one of the few preserved half-timbered synagogues in Mecklenburg and the last surviving synagogue in the Müritz region.

If you would like to stay in the area for a few days, we recommend a boat trip on the Müritz with our small boat, which we are happy to make available. The Röbel Bay is beautiful and offers an excellent view of the Großer Schwerin peninsula. It is also wonderful to explore the area by bike — for example, with a ride around the Müritz (see link below). Bicycles can be easily rented.

At the Gutshaus in Ludorf, a historical tour focusing on the mainly Slavic history of the village takes place every Thursday. From October 25 to November 9, the so-called “Schlösserherbst” (“Castles in Autumn”) is celebrated, during which selected ones of the more than 2,000 manor houses and estates in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern open their doors for guided tours, concerts, and culinary highlights.
